Letter of Pope Benedict XVI to the Bishops of the World to Present the Motu Proprio
Unbeknownst to most Catholics, the Roman Missal, the Divine Office and the General Roman Calendar underwent significant reforms between 1955 - 1962.
We desire to promote the integrity of the Classical Roman Rite, the Usus Antiquior. We acknowledge and appreciate the work of the many communities who use the 1962 liturgical books. It is our hope that this website will allow for clergy and faithful alike to discover and recover their own unadulterated tradition.
Inform yourself of your patrimony and deepen your understanding and love for sacred tradition. Learn more about the changes of the roman Rite that occured in the 1950s.
